The City of Brantford (City) has initiated a comprehensive Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) for improvements along Veterans Memorial Parkway from Mount Pleasant Street to Erie Avenue. This Study is required to address long-term transportation needs identified in the City’s Transportation Master Plans (2014 and updated 2020), including increased capacity at the Grand River and Market Street crossings, widening Veterans Memorial Parkway, and reviewing associated ramps, structures and active transportation facilities.

Zoning by-law amendment application PZ-01-26 proposes City-initiated amendments to Zoning By-law 124-2024 to correct errors and omissions, and to update various zoning regulations. The Planning Department, in consultation with internal departments, has identified general housekeeping items and additional provisions that need further clarification and updating.
