City of Brantford 2025 Remembrance Day schedule changes

BRANTFORD, ON – For the public’s information, the following City of Brantford schedule changes will be in place for Remembrance Day on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. There are no changes to the collection of regularly scheduled green bin, garbage and recycling.

Brantford Transit and Brantford Lift will be operating regular weekday service schedules on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 with free transportation from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for those attending the Remembrance Day Service. You can find routes and schedules at Brantford.ca/Transit.

Remembrance Day Service and overnight lighting display

An overnight lighting display will take place at the Brant War Memorial (6 Dalhousie Street) beginning Monday, November 10, 2025. A cadet vigil will take place on Monday, November 10, 2025 from 6 p.m. to midnight, resuming on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Residents are invited to attend the Remembrance Day Service at the Brant War Memorial
(6 Dalhousie Street). Details, including temporary road closures, are available online at Brantford.ca/RemembranceDay.

City of Brantford facility schedules on Tuesday, November 11, 2025

Brantford City Hall, Customer Service and Parking Enforcement Office
Brantford City Hall, Customer Service, the Parking Enforcement Office at 58 Dalhousie Street will close at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 10 and reopen on Wednesday, November 12 at 8:30 a.m. During this time, all customer service calls will be routed to the City’s after-hours provider that can be reached by calling the City’s Customer Service number at 519-759-4150. Many City services can be requested using one of our comprehensive online forms, that can be conveniently accessed on the City’s website at Brantford.ca/RequestService.

The Bell Homestead National Historic Site and The Exchange Café will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Cemetery Services

The Brantford Cemetery Main Office will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

City of Brantford Community Centres and arenas

• Branlyn Community Centre will be open on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
• Brantford and District Civic Centre will be open on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
• Doug Snooks Eagle Place Community Centre will be open on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
• Lions Park Arena will be closed on open on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
• T.B. Costain/SC Johnson Community Centre will be open on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
• Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre (including Brantford and Area Sports Hall of Recognition and Discover Brantford Desk) will be open on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
• Woodman Park Community Centre will be open on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Mohawk Street Landfill

The Mohawk Street Landfill will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Ontario Works Brantford-Brant Main Office

The Ontario Works Brantford-Brant main office at 225 Colborne Street will be open on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
