Have your say on the new Lions Park playground designs

Brantford, ON – The City of Brantford is inviting residents to help shape the new playground design at Lions Park Steve Brown Sports Complex. Residents can review the proposed designs and provide input at Letstalkbrantford.ca/LionsPark until February 15, 2026.
“We’re excited to include residents in the decision-making process for the new playground design of Lions Park,” says Kaslin Carroll, Coordinator of Parks Design and Development for the City of Brantford. “Inviting the community to vote on their preferred design ensures that the neighbourhood will have a playground that best suits their needs and is enjoyed by all users.”
Residents can choose from two playground design options, each featuring different equipment and a unique layout. In addition to the playground structures, both park designs include a swing set with an accessible swing and toddler seat, additional seating, accessible paved pathways, and a shade structure.
Residents are encouraged to participate in the survey to vote for their favourite playground design at www.LetsTalkBrantford.ca/LionsPark. Surveys will be open until Sunday, February 15, 2026.
Results of voting on the selected playground designs for Lions Park Steve Brown Sports Complex will be shared after the survey closes with subscribers to the Let’s Talk Brantford platform and on the City of Brantford’s official social media channels.
