Preparations continue for Downtown Revitalization Project
BRANTFORD, ON – As part of the Downtown Revitalization Project, PipeFlo Contracting Corp. will begin a sanitary lateral investigation on Colborne Street, Brant Avenue, and Icomm Drive on February 27, 2025. This important undertaking is anticipated to last approximately three weeks, weather permitting, and represents a critical step in the preparation for comprehensive construction activities scheduled for the spring.
What to expect
- Temporary lane closures, sidewalk closures, and occupation of parking spaces during work hours
Work schedule impacts
- Colborne Street West: Right lane closures between Brant Avenue and Market Street, some parking spaces will be occupied.
- Colborne Street East: Eastbound traffic centre lanes closed.
- Brant Avenue: Traffic will be directed by Brantford Police Services at the intersection of Colborne Street West and Brant Avenue.
- Icomm Drive: Westbound right lane closure between Hill Street and Colborne Street.
Supporting local businesses
Sidewalk and business entryway access will remain open wherever possible. Impacted property owners and businesses have been notified directly.
