Brantford’s Earl Haig Family Fun Park is now open for the season

Brantford, ON – The City of Brantford’s Earl Haig Family Fun Park is now open on weekends throughout June. The park features a lazy river ride, leisure pool and waterslide, splash pad, mini-putt, concession and more.

“Our team is excited to welcome everyone back to the waterpark for another summer of fun,” says David Ferguson, Manager of Arena and Aquatics Operations at the City of Brantford. “Our aquatics staff have worked hard behind the scenes over the past several months to prepare for reopening, and we’re ready for another fantastic season ahead.”

The waterpark will be open weekends on Fridays from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning Friday, June 5, 2026. The park will be open daily beginning Monday, June 29, 2026 until Labour Day, Monday, September 7, 2026. From Monday, June 29 to Sunday, August 16, 2026, the park will be open the following hours; Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The park will be open the following hours from Monday, August 17 to Monday, September 7, 2026; Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The pools close 30-minutes prior to the park closing.

The waterpark will also be open for all holidays, including Canada Day (Wednesday, July 1, 2026), Civic Holiday (Monday, August 3, 2026) from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Labour Day, (Monday, September 7, 2026) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Earl Haig Family Fun Park offers a variety of passes including Daily Visit Passes, 10-Visit Passes, Season Splash Passes and special evening rates. The pools will open at 11 a.m. and the waterslide will open at 12 p.m. For everyone’s safety, riders must be at least 48 inches tall and successfully complete a swim test to use the waterslide.

Earl’s Snack Shack offers a variety of delicious fare including nachos and cheese, popcorn, frozen treats, snacks and several refreshing drink options. The BBQ will reopen for the season on Friday, June 26, 2026, selling freshly prepared hot dogs and hamburgers. Visitors are also welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic drinks into the park.

Lockers are available to use for twenty-five cents. A refundable deposit of $10 is required per item for locker keys, lifejackets, tube rentals, and mini-putt equipment.
