Brantford's Fall Volunteer Fair aims to ignite volunteerism

BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford and the Brant Regional Association of Volunteer Administrators (BRAVA), invites residents to the Fall Volunteer Fair on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at T.B.Costain/SC Johnson Community Centre (16 Morrell St.) from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This event is free to attend and brings together a diverse lineup of community organizations offering a variety of meaningful volunteer opportunities for residents looking to get involved.

“The City of Brantford is extremely grateful for the dedication, commitment and generosity of our local volunteers who make a lasting, positive impact on our community,” says Brantford Mayor Kevin Davis. “The Fall Volunteer Fair is a great opportunity to ask questions and discover meaningful ways to get involved and make a positive impact in the community.”

Volunteering provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop new skills, strengthen résumés, and make a positive impact in the community. It can also count toward High School Community Service hours. The Fall Volunteer Fair invites residents to explore local volunteer opportunities, ask questions, and discover ways to get involved in Brantford.

The fair connects individuals of all ages and backgrounds with a wide range of local organizations. Whether attendees are looking to build skills, discover a new interest, or give back, there is something for everyone, with organizations eager to welcome new volunteers.

Brant Regional Association of Volunteer Administrators (BRAVA) was created in 1988 to promote and recognize the contributions that volunteers make in our community.
