City of Brantford to host Culture Days on the Trails event on September 19
BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford is excited to host the fourth annual Culture Days on the Trails event on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. along a section of the SC Johnson Trail. The rain date for this event will be Sunday, September 20.
“We’re excited to host the fourth annual Culture Days on the Trails,” said Kara Davey, Manager of Tourism, Culture and Sport. “This event highlights Brantford’s stunning trail system as well as the exceptional artistic talent within our community.”
Trail users are invited to walk along a 2.6 km stretch of the SC Johnson Trail between the Hardy Road parking lot and Lafayette Avenue and attend free performances featuring painters, musicians, dancers, and more. Altitude Coffee Roasters will be parked near the lower parking lot at Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant, serving hot and cold beverages. Free parking will be available at the parking lot on Hardy Road and at the lower parking lot at Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant. Limited on-street parking is also available on Parkside Drive, between Dufferin Avenue and Preston Boulevard.
Trail users should be advised that vehicles will be on this section of the trail between 8 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. and between 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for event set up and tear down. Attendees are asked to be aware of other trail users during the event and cyclists are asked to dismount their bikes when passing by groups that are watching the performances.

Attendees are also invited to visit the Grand River Arts Festival happening on the grounds of the Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant on the same day. This free celebration of visual arts, music, theatre and performance art will include a full day of live demonstrations, interactive experiences, a chance to support local makers and much more.
