Filming Notice – August 28, 2026
Recognizing the economic activity and community profile generated by film and television production, the City of Brantford’s Economic Development, Tourism & Cultural Initiatives Department is pleased to support the filming of Twisted Metal Season 3 in Brantford.
The production will be filming exterior driving scenes on Greenwich Street between Clarence Street South and Cayuga Street. Advance notification is being provided to affected residents, businesses, institutions, and community stakeholders.
Filming is proposed for Friday, August 28, 2026. Traffic impacts will be managed through a planned Intermittent Traffic Control operation, with advance public notification and coordination occurring with relevant City departments and external stakeholders.
Anticipated Impacts
Intermittent Traffic Stoppages
Under police supervision, intermittent traffic stoppages of five minutes will occur on August 28 between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm at:
- Greenwich Street between Clarence Street South and Cayuga Street
- Eagle Avenue at Greenwich Street
- Alfred Street at Greenwich Street
- Port Street at Greenwich Street
- Newport Street at Greenwich Street
Traffic will continue to be accommodated between filming intervals.
Street Parking
Street parking within the surrounding residential neighbourhood will be utilized by cast, crew, and production vehicles on August 28, 2026. In addition, a City-owned gravel area located near the Eagle Avenue and Rose Avenue area will be used for production parking. Production parking will be managed to minimize impacts on area residents and maintain access to local properties.
Community Notification
Affected residents, businesses, institutions, and places of worship in the immediate area will receive advance notification of the filming activity. Advance traffic notification signage will also be installed prior to filming.
Special Effects and Noise
The production will be filming a driving sequence utilizing a camera vehicle travelling through the corridor. No pyrotechnics are proposed.
