Filming Notice - June 11

Recognizing how welcoming film contributes to short-term economic investment, cultural development, and civic pride in the community, the City of Brantford Economic Development, Tourism & Cultural Initiatives Department is pleased to host the cast and crew of “Murdoch Mysteries”.

The production will be filming exterior scenes on George Street and at Victoria Park. Affected residents and businesses are being notified.

Crews will conduct preparation, filming, and wrap-up activities in the vicinity between June 10 and June 12.

Anticipated Impacts

Road Closures

Under police supervision, the following roads will be closed on June 11 from 6 am to 11 pm:

• George St. (Darling to Dalhousie).

Intermittent Traffic Stoppages

Under police supervision, the following traffic stoppages will occur on June 11 from 6 am to 11 pm:

• Darling Street at Market and at George
• Nelson Street at Market and at George

Street Parking

Street parking around Victoria Park (including Market St., Wellington St., Darling St., George St.) and the impacted closure on George Street will be reserved for the production at various times between June 10 and June 12.

Park Usage

Filming activities will occur in Victoria Park on June 11, and public access will be limited at points throughout the day.

No special effects and no excessive noise are planned.
