Powerline Road closure begins October 19, 2026
Construction to complete water and wastewater connections for a new Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board secondary school on Powerline Road will require a full road closure from Monday, October 19, to Friday, November 13, weather and construction conditions permitting.
Powerline Road will be closed between Old Farm Road and Park Road North for the duration of the work. The eastbound turning lane from Park Road North to Powerline Road will also be closed. Local access to Ivanhoe Road from King George Road will remain available.
Drivers are asked to use an alternate route and follow all temporary traffic controls when travelling through the area. The closure and traffic control plan may be adjusted if required due to weather or construction conditions.
The work is being completed by Brantford Engineering and Construction on behalf of the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board.
