Temporary changes to City Hall entrance starting March 26

BRANTFORD, ON – Temporary access changes will be in place at City Hall beginning Thursday, March 26, 2026, to support essential facade restoration work.

What to expect

  • Tuesday, March 24: Scaffolding will be installed near the Dalhousie Street main entrance and over the accessible ramp on Queen Street.
  • Thursday, March 26: The public entrance stairs will close for approximately two to three weeks.

Access during construction

During the stair closure, the Queen Street accessible ramp will remain open and will serve as the primary public entrance. Directional signage will be in place to guide visitors and staff.

Scaffolding is expected to remain in place for approximately six to eight weeks while overhead work continues.

Please follow posted signs, stay within designated pedestrian routes, and allow extra time when visiting City Hall. Timelines may change due to weather or site conditions.
