Temporary closure of Icomm Drive and Market Street South intersection February 5 to 13

BRANTFORD, ON – Beginning Thursday, February 5, 2026, the intersection of Icomm Drive and Market Street South will be closed through Friday, February 13, 2026, to complete necessary underground investigations. Motorists are asked to follow posted signage and allow extra travel time.

During this closure, alternative entrances to the Market Centre Parkade will remain available via Hill Street, Wharfe Street, and the Brantford Farmers’ Market. The only exit from the parkade is located at the west end, exiting onto Hill Street. Pedestrian access across Market Street South will be maintained outside of the intersection.

Businesses in the area remain open during construction, and residents and visitors are encouraged to continue supporting local businesses.
