Winter Event December 10, 2025 (Update #1)

Snow and rain continue to fall across the city, and Operational Services crews and contractors remain fully deployed. Plowing and salting operations are progressing according to the City’s winter control plan, with routes cleared in priority order.

At this time, Red Routes (arterial roads) are complete, Blue Routes (collector roads) are 90 percent complete, and crews are now focused on Green Routes (residential areas). Sidewalk and multi‑use path clearing has begun. The windrow clearing contractor has also been dispatched.

Snow flurries are expected throughout the afternoon and into the evening, with possible periods of blowing snow.

Residents are reminded to keep vehicles off the roads to allow plow crews to operate efficiently. Everyone, including our plow drivers, want to get home safe, so please practice caution around plows, keep your distance and avoid passing.
