Winter Event January 16, 2026 (Update #2)
In order to allow City crews to focus on snow clearing and removal, staff have activated the 24-hour clock as of 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2026. This means that individual customer requests for snow clearing operations are temporarily paused. After a snow-free 24-hour period, Operational Services staff resume responding to individual concerns and service requests in priority order.
Red Routes (arterial roads) and Blue Routes (collector roads) are complete. Crews are now focused on Green Routes (residential areas), sidewalks, and multi-use paths. The Windrow clearing contractor has been dispatched and working through the routes in priority order.
Residents are reminded to keep vehicles off the road where possible to allow crews to operate safely and efficiently. Please use caution around plows, keep your distance, and avoid passing.
We appreciate everyone's patience as we work to make our roads clear and safe for travel.
