Winter Event January 25, 2026 (Update #2)

The 24-hour clock was activated as of 7:00 a.m. this morning. During this 24-hour period, individual customer service requests are temporarily paused to allow crews to focus on clean-up efforts. Following this 24-hour period, Operational Services staff will resume responding to individual concerns and service requests in priority order.

Red Routes (arterial roads) and Blue Routes (collector roads) are complete. Crews are now focused on Green Routes (residential areas), sidewalks, and multi-use paths. Residents can learn whether their property is on a Red, Blue, or Green route by visiting Brantford.ca/FindMySnowRoute.

The windrow clearing contractor will be dispatched and working through the routes in priority order.

Residents are reminded to keep vehicles off the roads to allow crews to operate efficiently. Please practice caution around plows, keep your distance and avoid passing.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work to restore safe and clear road conditions across the city.
