Brantford's 2026-27 Fall/Winter FUN Guide is now available
BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford is pleased to announce the release of the new 2026/27 Fall/Winter FUN Guide, featuring hundreds of programs for recreation, sport and leisure. The FUN Guide is now available to pick up at City facilities, EarlyON Child and Family Centres and both Brantford Public Library branches or residents can review the online version at Brantford.ca/FUNGuide.
The Brantford FUN Guide showcases a wide range of drop-in and registered recreational programs and activities for preschoolers to older adults. Residents can take part in a variety of sports, ice skating, swimming, day camps, and much more. Families of all ages can enjoy exciting and free special events including Scare in the Square, Parade After Party, Brantford’s New Year’s Eve Celebration and Winter Fun Fest. The Bell Homestead National Historic Site also offers the return of beloved events such as the Halloween Fun Fair, Holiday Bake Sale and Candlelight Christmas Celebration along with several exciting new events and programs including An Evening of Local Spooky Ghost Stories, Paint Night for adults aged 18 and over, and kids programming.
Starting in November, Brantford’s new Blanche E. Williams Community Centre, located at 10 Strickland Avenue, will be offering programming for various ages such as Cook Up A Storm, Kids Night Out, Parent’s Night Off, Day Camps, and more.

Program and swim lesson registration dates
The City is phasing in a new process that will allow Brantford residents and Six Nations of the Grand River to register early for programs, workshops and swim lessons as per the City of Brantford's Allocation Policy. Review important registration dates for fall 2026 and winter 2027 below.
- Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 program registration (excluding swim lessons)
- City of Brantford and Six Nations of the Grand River residents can register for Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 programs (excluding swim lessons) on Monday, August 24, 2026 at 7:30 a.m.
- Registration opens to all on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 7:30 a.m.
- Fall 2026 Swim Lesson registration begins on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 7:30 a.m.
- Winter 2027 Swim Lessons registration
- City of Brantford and Six Nations of the Grand River residents can register on Monday, December 7 at 7:30 a.m.
- Registration opens to all on Wednesday, December 9, 2026 at 7:30 a.m.
- Spring 2027 Swim Lessons
- City of Brantford and Six Nations of the Grand River residents can register on Monday, March 8, 2027 at 7:30 a.m.
- Registration opens to all on Wednesday, March 10, 2027 at 7:30 a.m.
