Downtown Revitalization Project weekly update: June 8 to 12, 2026

BRANTFORD, ON – Installation of underground infrastructure along Icomm Drive and Hill Street continues this week, with traffic controls remaining in place throughout the construction area.

The Hill Street exit of the Market Centre Parkade is temporarily closed for construction and is expected to reopen by the end of June. All parkade entrances remain open. Vehicles must exit using Icomm Drive.

Lorne Bridge Bell Canada utility relocation

In the area of Brant Avenue and Colborne Street West, temporary lane closures remain in place to allow for telecommunications work related to the upcoming Lorne Bridge rehabilitation. Closed lanes are expected to remain in place to allow for work to continue through to early next week.

Public advisory

Motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians are encouraged to follow posted signage and allow extra travel time. Detour routes are being monitored and adjusted as needed to support traffic flow.
