On April 27th, 2021 City Council approved a new Right-of-Way Activity Policy, Public Works-023. The City of Brantford is committed to implementing efficient policies and practices that ensure the health and safety of the public. This new policy reduces the number of permits required, eliminates duplicate or triplicate document submissions and streamlines the applicable fee structure. All fees and charges are in accordance with the Fees and Charges By-law.
All applications for the Right-of-Way Activity Permit should be submitted using the online application.
A Right-of-Way Activity Permit is required by any person, utility company or contractor performing activities within City streets right-of-way.
