COVID-19 protocols

In accordance with provincial regulations, beginning September 22, 2021, patrons attending Walter Gretzky Municipal Golf Course will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and identification before they can enter the indoor dining area (Banquet Hall 1). Proof of vaccination will be accepted if the person’s name and date of birth on their identification document matches the name and date of birth on accompanying vaccination receipts. Examples of acceptable identification documents include an individual’s birth certificate, citizenship card, driver’s license, Government (Ontario or other) issued identification card, Indian Status Card /Indigenous Membership Card, Passport or Permanent Resident card.

Acceptable vaccination receipts include those received at the time of vaccination as well as PDF receipt copies that can be downloaded or printed using the Ontario COVID-19 online vaccination portal at  https://covid19.ontariohealth.ca/or obtained by calling the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900.

For Walter Gretzky Municipal Golf Course, this regulation will apply as follows;

Proof of vaccination (identification and proof of full vaccination) is required in the following areas
  • The indoor areas of restaurants, bars and other food or drink establishments, but not with respect to takeout and delivery service.
  • The indoor areas of meeting and event spaces e.g. Banquet hall 2
Proof of vaccination is not required for the following areas
  • to use a washroom;
  • to make a retail purchase e.g. Pro Shop;
  • while placing or picking up an order in the Bunker Bistro;
  • while paying for an order in the Bunker Bistro;
  • to purchase admission e.g. Green Fee and Power Cart purchases in the Pro Shop; or
  • as may be necessary for the purposes of health and safety

To summarize, proof of vaccination will only be required if you wish to sit inside the Clubhouse where we have Banquet Hall 1 set for food and beverage purposes. It will not be required to place your order and sit on the patio or to access the Pro Shop. As this new regulation goes into effect, we request your patience and cooperation as we adapt to the new provincial requirements.
