Brantford General Hospital

The Brantford General Hospital (BGH) is home to an array of leading edge technology complemented by more than 2,100 caring health care professionals and volunteers. It is the area's acute care facility, providing all of Brantford and Brant County's specialty programs and services for over 120,000 residents and boasts stable, state-of-the-art programs within a team environment that ensures high level patient-focused care.

It also is the regional centre for pediatrics, mental health, obstetrics, gynecology, CT scanning, critical care, surgical services, ambulatory care and emergency medicine. The BGH also is the site of the Brant Community Cancer Clinic.

Grand River Health Centre

The Grand River Community Health Centre (GRCHC) provides community-based primary health care and pursues wellness, health promotion, and community development initiatives in Brantford and the County of Brant.

McMaster Children's Hospital

McMaster Children's Hospital in Hamilton (36 km / 22 miles) offers leading care for children. It is a pediatric academic health science centre serving the special and unique healthcare needs of children and youth using a family-centred model of care.

Public Health – Brant County Health Unit

The Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provides health promotion, protection and disease prevention programs and services designed to help all members of the community achieve and maintain optimal health. Servicing a population of over 136,000, BCHU is governed by an autonomous Board of Health composed of members from the City of Brantford and County of Brant, and provincial appointees.
