Arts and Culture
The City of Brantford is rich with arts, culture and heritage. We have an array of performing, literary and visual arts organizations; multicultural groups; libraries; museums, galleries and historic sites; artists and artisans; and the historic Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts.
We are home to many exciting events and festivals that draw thousands of visitors each year, including:

Municipal Cultural Plan (2014)
Municipal cultural planning supports the pivotal role that arts, culture, and heritage play in building strong, sustainable, and vibrant communities. The City of Brantford's Municipal Cultural Plan (2014) proposes 34 strategic actions to assist in the implementation of five new goals. The plan unites and mobilizes the cultural community, and provides a policy framework and implementation strategies for City Council, staff, and community arts leaders.
Call for Artists: Culture Days on the Trails
Are you a local Brantford artist? The City of Brantford is looking for singers, dancers, poets, spoken word artist, musicians, theatre performers, and live painters to submit their proposal to showcase their amazing skills at this year’s Culture Days on the Trails in September 2023.
