Wheels on the Pavement (May 24, 2026) |
| Wheels on the Pavement is a fun, family-friendly community event that brings residents together to explore the vehicles, equipment, and people behind the city’s daily operations. Attendees can get up close to public works and emergency vehicles, meet skilled staff and first responders, enjoy interactive activities and community booths, and take in exciting demonstrations, including a 72,000-pound truck pull. With food options and entertainment for all ages, it offers sponsors strong visibility at a well-attended, community-focused event. |
| Roller Skate in the Square (July and August) |
| This program has participants kickin’ it old school and movin’ and groovin’. Roller skating takes place twice a week throughout July and August with a live D.J. on-site to keep things extra groovy. |
| Character Meet and Greet (July and August) |
| Fun and exciting new characters are on-site each week in July and August for families to have the opportunity to take a photo with their favourite character and even have it autographed! Colouring pages of their favourite characters are also available so kids can enjoy a free activity while they are there. |
| Movies in the Square (July and August) |
| This popular program attracts over 500 people to Harmony Square each week! Movies in the Square is an 8-week program that showcases a wide variety of outdoor movies under the stars. Attendees can enjoy everything from the classics to new releases weekly all summer long. |
| Music in the Square (July and August) |
| Over 200 people visit the Square to tap their toes each week throughout July and August to the amazing music of talented and quality musicians and bands! |
| HipFest – August 15, 2026 |
| This is a crowd favourite! Visitors can dance and listen to tributes to the music of the beloved Tragically Hip band. |
| Scare in the Square – October 28, 2026 |
| This is one of Brantford's most popular Halloween event. Visitors can get dressed up in their Halloween best and enjoy a wide-variety of Halloween themed events for all ages. Activities include trick-or-treating, escape rooms, haunted house, hay rides, paranormal tours, Halloween roller skating, Casper’s Craft Corner, HOWL-o-ween Dog Parade, costume contests, and much more! |
| Parade After Party – November 29, 2025 |
| This is where the magic of the season begins! After the Santa Claus parade ends, Harmony Square's Parade After Party begins. Harmony Square's mascot, Harmony Squirrel, kicks-off the holiday season with the tree lighting ceremony in the square. Everyone can enjoy free holiday activities, free pictures with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, live entertainment, character meet and greets, mailing their letters to Santa and much more! |
| Brantford’s New Year’s Eve Celebration – December 31, 2025 |
| There's no better place than Brantford to kick-off the new year free! The evening begins with a DJ Skate Party in Harmony Square (weather permitting), followed by live music, photo booth and party favours at the beautiful Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts, followed by a spectacular firework display after the ball drops in Harmony Square at midnight. |
