Children's programs

Kids Night Out (4 to 12 years) 

This program is a great way to spend a night out with friends. It will include physically distanced games, activities, and weekly themes with additional protocols in place to ensure a safe and fun time at program. This program is limited to 20 participants.

Mindcraft Hours of Code (4 to 8 years) 

Hour of Code is focused on introducing basic programming skills in a simple, accessible way. The Minecraft Hour of Code will introduce the player to programming logic like Repeat Loops and If Statements. The player can pick one of three scenarios. In each scenario, there is an objective for the player to complete in order to complete the first level. There are 12 to 14 levels in each scenario, which are more complex the higher the level.

 Mindcraft Code Blocks (9 to 14  years)

Code Builder for Minecraft: Education Edition allows educators and students to explore, create, and play in a Minecraft world. Partnering with familiar learn-to-code platforms like Tynker and Microsoft MakeCode, players can not only develop computational thinking but can also apply their creations across the curriculum. By using Code Builder you are introducing computer science and are exploring subjects like math and science.

Important information

  • Children must wear a face covering that covers their nose and mouth without gaps throughout the day for the majority of program activities.
  • Bring a snack and a refillable water bottle, as water fountains are only available for refilling at this time.
  • Please bring both indoor and outdoor running shoes and outdoor appropriate clothing. Children will be playing outdoors (weather permitting).
  • Parents are required to sign-in and sign-out their child(ren) outside of the facility. Parents will be asked to call the facility to notify of pick-up.
  • Pre-screening for each child will be implemented. Temperatures will also be taken daily.
  • Consistent with public health regulations ongoing hand washing and sanitizing protocols (including all materials and surfaces) will be adhered to by all staff and participants prior to, during and after each program and more often as required.
  • Everyone in the household must stay home if anyone is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, been notified that they are a close contact or is waiting for test results after experiencing symptoms. Refunds will be issued for days not attended in this situation.

Adult programs

Pickleball (18 years and over)

Pickleball is a ‘tennis-like' racquet game played with four people on a badminton sized court. The paddles used are light-weight and solid, used to hit a large hollow plastic ball. This is an adult drop-in program. 

This program begins October 4, 2021. Play sessions are limited to 16 players. Weekly pre-registration is required. Registration will open every Tuesday for the following week at 8:00 a.m.

Additional COVID-19 protocols

  • We will not be accepting cash at this time. All payments must be received at the time of booking online. 
  • Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or experiencing any symptoms of COVID – 19.
  • When you enter the facility we will ask you to sign-in and use the sanitizer provided. Please follow staff instructions at all times to ensure proper traffic flow during your visit.
  • Masks are mandatory when entering and exiting the facility, as well as when awaiting play. (BY-LAW 106-2020)
  • Arrive only five (5) minutes before your selected time, wearing proper clothing for play.
  • There will be no access to change rooms. Please change at home after your session.
  • Bring your own reusable water bottle. Water fountains will be available for water bottle refills only.
  • A designated washroom will be available.
