Pickleball
The City offers pickleball drop-in programs at a variety of locations. Pickleball is a ‘tennis-like' racket game played with two or four people on a badminton sized court. The paddles used are light-weight and solid, used to hit a large hollow plastic ball. It can be easy enough for anybody to play and will provide a good workout for those looking to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Pickleball is not offered on statutory holidays and the schedules below may change for school holidays including; P.D.Days., March Break and winter break.
55+ Brantford Pickleball Pass
The Brantford Pickleball Pass offers adults ages 55 or over unlimited indoor pickleball play for an entire year! This special pass is only available to those ages 55 or over who are renewing or buying a 55+ Recreation or Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre Facility Membership as an add-on.
55+ Brantford Pickleball Pass Rates
All rates include one full year of unlimited pickleball play at City of Brantford Community Centres and the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre during pickleball drop-in times listed below.
- 55+ Recreation Membership holders: $162.32 including tax
- Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre annual Facility Membership holders: $162.32 including tax
Players ages 54 and under, and Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre Pool and Weight Room Only Membership pass holders will be required to pay regular drop-in or 10-visit punch card rates to participate.)

Outdoor pickleball courts
Brantford outdoor courts are available to pre-book for Steve Brown Sports Complex at 12 Edge Street, Kiwanis Field at Kiwanis Way and Dufferin Park at 164 St. Paul Avenue, as weather permits. Equipment is not provided.
