Brantford Beats & Eats

Get ready for the first annual Brantford Beats & Eats, an exciting, FREE summer festival happening in Brantford on Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.! 

Join us at Mohawk Park, Harmony Square (89 Dalhousie Street), and along Colborne Street, between Queen Street and Bain Street, for a full day of delicious food, live music, art, and entertainment. The free, full-day event will culminate with a ticketed performance inside the Sanderson Centre by JUNO Award winners and 9-time Canadian Country Music Award winners, The Washboard UnionAttendees can view an online Event Map or pick-up a copy at the festival from our volunteers. 

Please note that photographers and videographers will be present at Brantford Beats & Eats capturing images of the event for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in photographs or be recorded, please speak with staff at the Discover Brantford booth located in Harmony Square. 

Mayor's Family Fun Zone at Mohawk Park

Don't miss the free Mayor's Family Fun Zone, happening from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Mohawk Park (51 Lynwood Drive) – a short 6-minute drive from downtown Brantford! Enjoy music from Backburner, a bouncy castle, and games like Plinko, Tic Tac Toss, Golf Chipping Game, and more. Brantford Fire, Brantford EMS, and Brantford Police Services will be on-site with their vehicles, along with 12+ community organizations. Cool down at the Mohawk Park Splash Pad (weather permitting). Food trucks will also have food and beverages available for purchase.

Cooling Area at Brantford Public Library

Brantford Public Library is participating as a ‘cooling area’ and screening the following films:

  • The Return of Tanya Tucker, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Summer of Soul, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

No registration is required; these will be drop-in events. 

Food Trucks, Artisans and Vendor Marketplace

Over 15 different artisans and vendors will be stationed in Harmony Square and along Colborne Street from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. selling a wide variety of merchandise. Several food trucks including Fo CheezyGuac and RollWhat’s the Scoop?, and The Difficult Lemon will be on-site with food and beverages for purchase. 

Parking and Road Closures

Downtown road closures will be in effect for the community to enjoy the event. Colborne Street from Queen Street to Bain Street will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Parking is free in the municipal parking garage located at 59 Icomm Drive.
