Arena Advertising

Advertise your business or organization in the Tournament Capitol of Ontario. Community arenas are a great way to brand your business or organization, and get your messaging out to the public.

The City of Brantford’s Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre and Lions Park Arena host millions of visitors annually for tournaments, figure skating, hockey, and lacrosse games, trade shows and more, ranging from local events to regional, provincial, and international events.

Advertising opportunities include rink boards and ice-resurfacer wrapping and arena naming opportunities.

Ad rates do not include the cost of ad design or production.

Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre arena advertising

The Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre (254 North Park Street) is Brantford's primary sports and leisure facility bringing over a million residents and visitors to the facility for over 55 years! The arenas are open year-round and is also the home of the Jr. B Brantford Titans, Brantford 99ers, Brantford Ice Cats, Brant Figure Skating Club, lacrosse teams, trade shows and much more! 

Beyond its arenas, the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre provides a diverse range of recreational opportunities including fitness and aquatics facilities offering extensive programming year-round. Amenities include an indoor track, 65-metre and 25-metre pools, Hydrotherapy Pool, Warm Water Pool, sauna, 150 ft waterslide, dryland training room, gymnasium, a variety of land and pool fitness classes, and fully equipped weight room. 

In addition to all of the amenities, the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre hosts a multitude of hockey tournaments, swim meets and special events that bring both residents and visitors from all over the world to the facility.

Rink 1 features include:

  • 1,200 stadium style seats
  • the rink is used year-round
  • modern in design
  • second floor indoor track overlooking the rink
  • licensed restaurant overlooking the rink
  • press box

Rink 1 advertising rates:

  • Single rink board ad: $2,500/year plus HST
  • Additional rink board ad on rink 1: $2,000/year plus HST for each additional ad

Features of rinks 2, 3 and 4 include:

  • rinks are used year-round
  • 300 seats in each rink
  • floor to ceiling windows overlook the main lobby
  • Viewing gallery overlooks rink two

Rinks 2, 3 and 4 advertising rates:

  • Single Rink Board Ad: $1,000/year plus HST
  • Additional rink board ads on rinks 2, 3 or 4: $800/year plus HST for each additional ad

Benefits of advertising on the ice-resurfacer:

  • ice rinks are flooded year-round
  • new state-of-the-art electric units will be available in 2026
  • advertisers will have the ability to auto renew, with first right of refusal, for up to six years

Ice-resurfacer advertising rate:

  • $6,000/year plus HST, for a minimum 3-year term (cost of wrap is not included, or provided by the City of Brantford)

In-ice logo ads cost $1,200/year plus HST and is available on rinks 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Score clock advertising costs $1,500/year plus HST

Lions Park Arena arena advertising

Lions Park Arena located at 12 Edge St, seats up to 350 spectators and is the home of the Brantford Church Hockey League and many rentals during the winter season that brings residents and visitors to the facility.

Rink board advertising rates:

  • Single rink board ad: $250/year
  • Additional rink board ad: $200/year

Benefits of advertising on the ice-resurfacer:

  • Flood the ice rinks during the winter hockey season
  • Ability to auto renew, with first right of refusal, for up to five years

Ice-resurfacer advertising rate:

  • $2,500/year, for a minimum 3-year term (cost of wrap is not included, or provided by the City of Brantford)

In-ice logo ads cost $500/year

Score clock advertising costs $500/year

What you need to know

  • Ads are 3 feet high by 8 feet wide
  • Ads using glue or sticky backings will not be accepted
  • Once ad location is confirmed, payment is due at the time of booking to reserve the ad location
  • Artwork must be approved before it is printed
  • Approved ads must be delivered and receipt confirmed
  • An artwork and ad supplier can be supplied upon request
