| NEW! Spilling the Tea - May 31, 2026 |

Join us for an informal tea and tour experience. Tour the place where Dr.Alexander Graham Bell made history with the invention of the telephone and lived with his family. Discover fascinating moments, engaging stories and little-known details about the lives of the Bell family and their connections. The tour concludes with an afternoon tea and light snacks in the quaint Exchange Café. Tickets cost $25 per person. Tickets can be purchased online at Brantford.ca/ACTIVEnet

| 31st Annual Barn Sale - May 23 |

You’ll find lots of great bargains at our annual yard sale including household items, furniture, clothing and oddities galore. Admission is free with exception of the cost of purchased items. Proceeds from the sale benefit our museum programs. Have items to donate? You can drop off your donations at the Bell Homestead or arrange pick-up by calling 519-756-6220 or emailing bellhomestead@brantford.ca.

The Telephone City Music Society, Brantford’s longest-established concert band, celebrates summer at the Bell Homestead with an outdoor concert to get your toes tapping. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy this evening outdoor performance.

Enjoy an evening outdoor performance by the Brantford Community Symphony Orchestra featuring classical music enjoyed by the Bell family and modern favourites. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the music in front of the Bell family’s 1870s home.
