2025 Parade After Party
Join us for the Parade After Party on Saturday, November 29 after the Santa Claus Parade. Families of all ages will enjoy the afternoon with several free holiday activities.
- Free photo with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus
- Free hot chocolate, provided by Tim Hortons, while supplies last
- Free carnival treats, while supplies last
- Special live musical performance followed by a Meet and Greet with the Snow Sisters from The Glass Slipper Company
- Doug "The Great" Hunt who won the Stilt Walker Guinness Book World Record in Brantford in 2001 and 2023
- Free face painting
Downtown road closures will be in effect for the community to enjoy the Santa Claus Parade. Please check for road closures before heading downtown. Parking is free in the municipal parking garage located at 59 Icomm Drive.

Road closures
The following roads will be closed for the parade and parade staging. Sidewalks will remain open for pedestrians.:
- Dalhousie Street will be closed from Stanley Street to King Street for the parade
- Colborne Street will be closed from King Street to Clarence Street for the parade
- Dalhousie Street to Colborne Street, including the following cross streets: Icomm Drive, King Street, Queen Street, Market Street, George Street, Charlotte Street, Clarence Street, Alfred Street, Park Street, Peel Street, Murray Street, Brock Street, Drummond St., Rawdon Street, Wellington Street, and Stanley Street
- Stanley Street from Grey Street to Colborne Street
- Marlborough Street from Stanley Street to Park Road, North
- Sheridan Street from Stanley Street to Park Road, North
- Chatham Street from Stanley Street to Park Road, North
- Nelson Street from Stanley Street to Park Rd. N.
- Wellington Street from Stanley Street to Park Road, North
- Darling Street from Stanley Street to Pouleston Street
Road construction will reduce Brant Avenue (Dalhousie St. to Colborne St.) to a single southbound lane, and Icomm Dr. (Colborne St. to Market St.) to a single eastbound lane. Icomm Dr. (Market St. to Clarence St. S) will be reduced to a single lane in each direction. Construction details can be found at www.Brantford.ca/DowntownDetours.
Volunteering
Brantford's Parade After Party brings families and friends together for an afternoon of free holiday activities following the Santa Claus Parade. Volunteers must be ages 14 or over to apply. High school Community Service Hours are available upon request.
Volunteer opportunities include helping with letters to Santa Claus, the photo booth, treat distribution, set up and take down and being an elf in the Freedom House Santa Claus Parade.
Deadline to apply is Thursday, November 20, 2025. Volunteers must be available to attend virtual volunteer training on Monday, November 24, 2025 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
