Lawn Bowling

Lawn bowling is a sport played on a flat, grass surface. It's a great opportunity to enjoy recreation outdoors and connect with others. Brantford's new lawn bowling greens are open for the season, weather permitting. Purchase a membership to enjoy unlimited play during schedule times. The Green features eight bowling rinks with lights, seating and a shade area. Balls (bowls) are provided. Free on-site parking is available.

Hours

Try out the new lawn bowling green. Play for FREE on Saturday, July 19 and July 26, 2025.

A Lawn Bowling Membership is required to use the facility. Rinks are open for drop-in play from May to October, weather permitting. Schedules are subject to change.

Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Memberships

Seasonal memberships include unlimited drop-in play during scheduled times. You can purchase a seasonal membership inside the Pro Shop at the Walter Gretzky Municipal Golf Course.

2025 membership rate: $75.00 per person, including HST
2026 membership rate: $175.00 per person, including HST

Rules of play

To ensure everyone has a great time, and for everyone's safety, please adhere to the following rules of play.

Wear flat sole shoes or sneakers.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing, including a hat and sunscreen when needed.
Do not throw the balls outside of the lawn bowling area or towards other players.

Sponsorship opportunities

Opportunities are available to sponsor a rink. Sponsors will have their logo included on a sign at each end of a rink sized 24 inches wide by 18 inches high. The rate to sponsor a rink is $565.00 including HST. Ad design and production is not included.
