Brantford's New Year's Eve Celebration

Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Brantford on Sunday, December 31, 2023 from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. with free live music, photo booth and party favours at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts, followed by a spectacular firework display after the ball drops in Harmony Square at midnight. 

The evening begins at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts with the doors opening at 8:00 p.m. Live music begins at 9:00 p.m. featuring Wicked Truth presented by Bellvue Manor playing high energy classic rock.  Just after 10:00 p.m. you won't want to miss the international Bryan Adams Tribute Act, Summer of ’69 presented by Associated Paving and Materials Ltd.

The fun continues at Harmony Square following the musical performances with a ball drop at midnight to count down the New Year, followed by a spectacular firework display sponsored by TD Canada Trust. 

Wicked Truth at 9:00 p.m.

Wicked Truth formed in 2016, and with their extremely entertaining, engaging and energetic performances, quickly became a favourite across southern Ontario. You may recognize them from their first television appearance on the long running CBC show Land and Sea and their regular appearances on The Discovery Channel hit show The RVers, over the past four years.

Summer of 69' at 10:00 p.m.

Summer of 69' is Canada's international Bryan Adams Tribute Act, established in 2004 in Toronto, and has performed at countless outdoor festivals, theatres and events across Canada, USA including the Caribbean’s. They are now one of the most popular tribute acts around.

Parking and Transit

Brantford Transit

Free transit services will be available on New Year’s Eve to and from the event from 9:00 p.m. on December 31, 2023 to 1:00 a.m. on January 1, 2024. Consider using Brantford Transit to get to our event. The main Transit Terminal is located on 64 Darling Street, just steps from Harmony Square and across from the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts. You can find routes and schedules at

Municipal Parking

  • Market Centre Parkade: free municipal parking is available on Saturday and Sunday between the Brantford and District Civic Centre and Harmony Square. The entrance is located at 59 Icomm Drive.
  • Darling Street Municipal Parking Lot No. 3: a paid parking lot is available and located next to the Brantford Transit Main Bus Terminal.
  • King Street Municipal Parking Lot No. 4: a paid parking lot is available and located between Dalhousie Street and Colborne Street off King Street.

A central pay station is available at the Municipal Parking Lots No. 3 and 4 where coins, Mastercard and Visa credit cards are accepted. Rates can be found at

A road closure is in effect on Colborne Street from Brant Avenue to Bain Street on December 31 from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on January 1, 2023, due to the planned firework display.
