Water Reservoir Mural

The City of Brantford is inviting artists to transform the east-facing wall of the City Water Reservoir facility located at 310 Campbell Street with a new mural, visible from Wayne Gretzky Parkway. Eligible artists are invited to submit expressions of interest and qualifications through the online form by Friday, April 10, at 11:59 p.m. Apply now.
Culture Days on the Trails

Local singers, dancers, poets, spoken word artists, musicians, theatre performers, and live painters are invited to submit their proposal to showcase their skills at this year’s Culture Days on the Trails event on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Artists will be stationed along the trail and paid $250.00 for a three-hour performance time. Please note that due to the outdoor nature of this event, there will not be any power or water supply. Shade will be limited, but performance sites have been selected based on shade and performance space. Artists will be selected through a jury-led review panel. The City of Brantford’s second annual Brantford Beats & Eats festival returns to downtown Brantford on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Performers, vendors, and artisans who are interested in taking part are invited to complete the online application form by Friday, March 27, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. Apply now.
Trail Mix
Local musicians from Brantford, the County of Brant, Six Nations of the Grand River, and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation are invited to submit up to three original songs to be considered for inclusion in the Trail Mix 2026 playlist. Jubilee Terrace Park
STEPS Public Art and the City of Brantford invite professional Canadian artists and artist teams to submit qualifications for the first stage of a two-stage public art competition for the creation of a new public artwork to be installed in Jubilee Terrace Park at 10 Brant Avenue. The commissioned sculpture will honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have served, and continue to serve, Canada during times of war, military conflict, and peace. Traffic Cabinet Wraps
The City of Brantford is seeking five artists to create original artwork that will be used to wrap traffic cabinets across the community this summer. Art installation, which will be done by the City of Brantford, is scheduled for summer 2025. Closed for applications.

The City of Brantford is seeking an artist or artist collective to create an original mural on the front of the washroom and storage building in Rotary Centennial Waterworks Park. Mural installation by the artist/collective is scheduled for Summer 2025. Closed for applications.
Parkette Mural
The City of Brantford seeks to commission a muralist or mural collective to create a mural on the west wall of the Brantford Public Library (173 Colborne Street) in late summer/early fall of 2024. This mural is part of a larger project to create a community performance stage to enhance community wellbeing and create space for live music in the downtown core, while also beatifying and developing an under-utilized space. This mural will create a visual element and backdrop for the artists performing on the new stage. Closed for applications.
Phil Hartman Mural

The City of Brantford seeks to commission a muralist or mural artist collective to create a mural artwork on the east wall of the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts building (88 Dalhousie St., Brantford) to honour the late Phil Hartman, a well-known and tremendously gifted screen and voice actor, comedian, screenwriter and graphic designer.
