Lego WeDo Robotics (4 to 8 years)

Learn robotics with LEGO Education WeDo. Build snapping alligators, race cars, and spinning robots, then program them with the WeDo visual drag-and-drop programming software. In this children’s robotic course, participants are taught engineering basics with an emphasis on exploration and trial and error field-testing. Instead of simply “snapping bricks together,” participants are encouraged to think critically about how and why their design needs to adapt to changing conditions. Our guided, personalized instruction allows younger participants to understand more complicated engineering techniques such as gear use, pulleys, and inclined planes.

Lego Mindstorms EV3 (9 to 14 years)

LEGO Mindstorms EV3 is designed for those with no programming background and introduces participants to concepts such as coding, looping, decision-making and flow control as they utilize the visual drag and drop programming interface. Participants design and build programmable robots using high-quality motors, sensors, gears, wheels, axles, and other technical components. By using hands-on robotics, participants will gain a better understanding of how the technology works in real-world applications.
