Youth Programs

Indoor Sk8park programming is currently being offered until April 1, 2021 with COVID-19 protocols in place. Pre-registration is required. All other programming is not available at this time. Please subscribe to this page to receive updates to programming as it occurs. Thank you.

We offer lots of youth programs for ages 11 to 17.  Youth memberships are available for only $5.00 a year and give you access to discounts, drop-ins lounges and more!

Red Cross Stay Safe (9 to 13 years)

This Red Cross safety program will help you gain confidence and independence with real world scenarios and hands on learning you will learn to stay safe! Pizza and hot dogs will be here to buy for lunch or you can bring your own.

Red Cross Babysitter Training (11 to 15 years)

Want to have fun while earning money? Our certified Red Cross Instructor will teach you important skills for taking care of children and also give you some great ideas on how to make babysitting safe and enjoyable for everyone. You'll need to bring a toy doll to class.

Art Club (11 to 15 years)

Each week will be different art or craft project. Show off to parents and guests the final week as we set-up an art gallery. You may need to bring some project supplies during the program.

Cook Up a Storm (11 to 15 years)

Cooking from snacks to meals, invite a guest to the final pop-up restaurant night. You will need to bring some ingredients to class.

Baking Basics (11 to 15 years)

Learn, create and bake recipes from sweet to savory with us. You’ll need to bring some ingredients to class.

Indoor Sk8Park (11 to 17 years)

Come ride the rails and ramps at our indoor skate park. You must bring your own scooters or skateboards (longboards are not permitted). You must wear a helmet at all times. Knee, elbow, and wrist guards are highly recommended.

This program runs March 10 to April 1, 2021. Program details can be found in the chart below. Pre-registration is required. There is no fee for this program.

  • Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. 11 to 17 years
  • Friday - 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 11 to 17 years
  • Saturday - 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. 11 to 17 years
  • Saturday - 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. 11 to 17 years

COVID-19 protocols

  • Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.
  • When you enter the facility you will be asked COVID-19 pre-screening questions
  • Face coverings are mandatory when entering and exiting the facility, and highly recommended while skating (BY-LAW 106-2020).
  • Arrive only five (5) minutes before your selected time
  • Attend wearing proper clothing for play
  • Bring your own reusable water bottle. Water fountains will be available for water bottle refills only.
  • There will be no concession on site

Red Cross First Aid CPR (Level C) (12 to 16 years)

We offer The Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid CPR Level C with AED certification in a youth-friendly learning environment. Bring your own lunch or you can buy pizza and hot dogs from our concession.

Drop-in Upper Youth Basketball (16 to 24 years) 

Drop-in for a game of basketball in our gymnasium and play with other youth your age. We have a concession on-site to buy snacks and drinks.
