Lions Park Arena and Auditorium
There are several groups that provide hockey and skating program at Lions Park Arena:
- Brantford Community Hockey League
- Brantford Girls Hockey Association
- Brantford Minor Hockey Association
- Brant Skating Club
Arena hours
Winter Season runs October to the end of March with the following hours.
- Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
- Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Public Skate
Join us on Sunday afternoon's from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. during the winter season for our public skates. All ages welcome.
Admission per person is $4.45 including HST and children 4 and under are free.
For your safety, CSA approved helmets are highly recommended for all skaters. Equipment such as skating aids, pushers, strollers, as well as sticks and pucks are not permitted. Please skate responsibly and with the flow of other skaters. Arena personnel are there to help if you have any questions.
Program will not run on the following Sundays due to Tournaments:

We have an arena and auditorium available for rent.

Non-prime time hours

- Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
How to book arena/floor
To book the arena/floor please fill out the Arena Application.
Please note that this application is a request only and does not guarantee a permit will be issued or availability. You must complete one application per tournament.
Tournament schedules are required at least seven (7) days prior to the start of the tournament. Game/Practice requests will be processed following the tournament bookings being entered into the booking system.
Tournament applications for spring/summer must be submitted by January 15 and winter must be submitted by July 15.
All other arena applications for spring/summer season must be submitted by February 15 and winter season must be submitted by August 15.

Auditorium rental
Our auditorium can be rented year round for various events and gatherings.
For hosting an event with alcohol, please view the Municipal Alcohol Policy . It has the following amenities:
- air conditioned
- banquet seating capacity of 274 people
Auditorium rental rates
It costs $40/hour for a minimum of two hours for non-alcohol events and a minimum of nine hours for an alcohol event. Insurance needs to be provided or purchased from the City.

How to book auditorium
Payment is due when you book and you must provide a Certificate of Insurance or purchase insurance from the City. To book the auditorium please email us at rentals@brantford.ca.
