Brantford’s Canada Day is an event that brings our community together to share our pride and gratitude for living in this great nation. Join us on July 1st for a day filled with live music, family friendly fun, and more!

A time to reflect

The City of Brantford stands with the Indigenous community to support the efforts to advance reconciliation and renew relationships based on recognition of rights, respect, cooperation, and partnership. Acknowledging that there are many things to celebrate with pride about our nation, Canada Day also presents an important opportunity to reflect and learn from our past. With deep respect for Indigenous communities and in an effort to further educate citizens about indigenous culture, the City was honoured to work closely with Indigenous peoples in our region to develop indigenous themed programming that will be part of Brantford’s 2023 Canada Day event.
