Household Hazardous Waste

Household Hazardous Waste Events allow you to safely dispose of Household Hazardous Waste (HHWs). Do not throw out HHWs with your regular garbage or pour them down the drain. HHWs can result in environmental damage and create a health hazard if you don’t dispose of them properly.

These events are for residents of the City of Brantford and County of Brant only.

Please note that industrial, commercial or institutional waste is not accepted at these residential events.

Tires and electronics can be disposed of free of charge at the Mohawk Street Landfill.
