Truck Visits and Station Tours

Fire Truck Visits

When possible, the Brantford Fire Department enjoys participating in community events by having a fire truck attend. Along with being a part of our community, attendance at these events also provides us with the opportunity to educate the public on important fire safety matters.

Station Tours

The Brantford Fire Department provides station tours to school aged children and youth groups, such as Girl Guides, Scouts and Cadets. These tours help us educate a high risk group within our Community.
During these tours, we teach children:

  • The importance of not playing with matches and lighters.
  • How to recognize the sound of a smoke alarm and what to do if they hear it.
  • To “stop, drop and roll” if their clothing catches fire.

Virtual Station Tour

Enjoy a virtual tour of the new Brantford Fire Station No. 2 at 21 Fairview Drive. Watch and listen carefully for some important safety education along the way. Not only does the station meet the City’s current and future needs, but it also uniquely celebrates Brantford Fire’s rich history, diversity and community.
