Nature is Best

Our Nature is Best, FREE summer passport program is now underway until September 2, 2019. Kids are encouraged to get outside and get active with our mini passport to nature and experience activities like tubing down the grand river, cycling on a trail, playing in a splash pad, and more, all for FREE!

This summer, try family yoga in the park, float down the Grand River, bike along the trails and so much more. Complete at least 10 activities for your chance to win recreational gift cards.

Click for your FREE printable PDF passport and get outside, play and WIN! Passports with 10 completed activities can be returned to City of Brantford Parks and Recreation, 1 Sherwood Drive, Brantford or to the County of Brant, 15 Curtis Ave. N, Paris. OR, once you have completed your passport, snap a pic or scan your completed form and email it to parksandrecreation@brantford.ca for a chance to win some COOL prizes in random draw of all completed passport entries recieved.

Our Healthy Kids campaign encourages kids to Power Off and Play, and what better place to play in the summer than outside? Playing outside provides many physical, mental and emotional benefits to children.
