Young Canadians Interactive Area Application

The Young Canadians Interactive Area is a space for families to gather, enjoy interactive activities and learn about local community organizations during Brantford's Canada Day event. If you are a not-for-profit and/or non-profit organization, community group or club, you are welcome to apply to participate in this area free of charge. For-profit businesses are not able to participate in this area but are invited to apply to be a Marketplace Vendor.

Requests for specific booth locations will not be accepted. Exhibiters are required to provide their own tables, chairs, tents, tent weights etc. on the day of the event. Hydro is unavailable but electrical generators are permitted if required.

Marketplace Vendor Application

Marketplace vendors are invited to be a part of Brantford's Canada Day event! This outdoor open-air market offers attendees a chance to shop while enjoying the festivities. It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase your business, increase your visibility, and directly engage with potential customers. I’m excited to be there to connect with the community and support local vendors while promoting my products!

A certificate of insurance in the amount of $2 million general liability and proof of automobile liability insurance may be requested. Vendors are required to bring their own extension cords, tables, chairs, tents, tent weights, etc. Specific booth locations will not be considered.

Returning vendors from the previous year will have the first opportunity to submit their application through a link that will be emailed. Vendors will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.

Food Vendor Application

Food vendors are invited to participate in Brantford's Canada Day event. We see over 20,000 people attend this event each year and that is a lot of hungry bellies to feed.

Please ensure you have the following documents available before you fill out the application.

To submit your application, you must upload the following required documents to the application:

  • Completed Brant County Health Unit Form. This form can be found on their website at www.bchu.org.
  • A Certificate of Insurance. If your insurance expires before July 1, upload the current certificate of insurance you have. Once your application is approved, we will contact you for an updated certificate of insurance if needed.
  • A photo of your truck/trailer/tent set up

All vendors will be required to apply for a Special events business license from the City of Brantford.
