Brantford, ON: The City of Brantford is pleased to report that Mayor Kevin Davis is resting comfortably following laparoscopic surgery this afternoon to remove his right kidney.
The City is preparing new Business Licensing requirements that will include hotels and motels within Brantford and we would like to hear from you. Please take our survey before 4:30 p.m. on Monday, September 23, 2019 and let us know what you think about our new requirements.
Please note that routes 1, 9 and 14 will be on a detour from Monday, September 9 through to Thursday, September 12. Please contact Transit staff at 519-753-3847 if you require.
On June 26, 2018, City Council adopted amendments to Chapter 327 of the City of Brantford Municipal Code – Taxicab Licensing, which provided for tariff adjustments to be made annually in September based on the Ontario Consumer Price Index (CPI).
Due to the road closure on Garden Ave (from Pace Ave to Elgin Street) Route 9 will be on detour inbound starting Monday August 19th to approximately October 14th, 2019..
Please note that routes 4A, 4C, 8 and NWIA will be on a detour while work is done to complete the resurfacing of Brant Avenue. It is anticipated that the work will be completed by the end of August 2019 (weather permitting). Please contact Transit staff at 519-753-3847 if you require additional information about these detoured routes.
