Installation of underground infrastructure along Icomm Drive continues this week, with traffic controls remaining in place throughout the construction area.

The City of Brantford is preparing to begin installation of the new bridge spans as part of the next phase of the Brant’s Crossing Bridge Replacement Project.

Please be advised that one lane on Colborne Street West, west of Spalding Drive, will be closed for one to two days between June 6 and July 31, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Please be advised that one lane on Bilanski Farm Road, east of Garden Avenue, will be closed for one to two days between June 2 and July 31, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford is pleased to share that the Bell Homestead National Historic Site was awarded the 2026 Ontario Public Works Association (OPWA) Project of the Year Award in the Historical Restoration/Preservation category.

The City of Brantford and the Brantford Fire Department remind residents that the use of fireworks is permitted on Victoria Day, May 18, 2026 and the three calendar days leading up to the holiday (May 15, 16 and 17, 2026) as long as they meet the safety requirements and bylaw restrictions.

Please be advised that one lane and the sidewalk at Clarence Street and Colborne Street will be closed from 8:30 a.m. on May 25 to 4:30 p.m. on June 12, 2026.

Construction for Phase 1 of the Downtown Revitalization Project is underway, with underground infrastructure work continuing and traffic controls in place along Icomm Drive.
