Zoning by-law amendment application PZ-01-26 proposes City-initiated amendments to Zoning By-law 124-2024 to correct errors and omissions, and to update various zoning regulations. The City of Brantford is proposing a new Economic Development Community Improvement Plan (EcDev CIP). The EcDev CIP will introduce a tax increment grant program and a building fee reduction program targeted to businesses classified under “industrial occupancy” within the Ontario Building Code. These financial incentive programs are designed to support the expansion of existing businesses and attract new investment within the municipal boundary. The new CIP will outline program scope, applicant requirements, eligible costs, and grant payment terms.
