Candidates must file their Nominations forms in person at City Hall, located at 58 Dalhousie Street. It is expected that Candidates have completed all of the required forms and reviewed the necessary information provided in the Candidate Package before they arrive to file their Nomination.
When Candidates arrive, they will meet with the City Clerk or designate, who will proceed to complete the Nomination Checklist with the Candidate. If satisfied with the information provided, the City Clerk or designate will receive the Nomination.Nominations will not be formally certified by the City Clerk until Monday, August 24, 2026.
