Chapter 440 of the City of Brantford Municipal Code regulates landfill and curbside collection of garbage waste in Brantford. Residents must comply by properly preparing their garbage and recycling.

| Leave recyclable materials curbside for collection in a manner not permitted | $100.00 |
| Place bulky material curbside without authorization | $100.00 |
| Failure to remove uncollected solid waste in a core area after 11:00 a.m. | $100.00 |
