Led by community partner Alicia Land, this laid-back workshop is the perfect chance to get creative, connect with new friends, and unwind with some paint and good vibes. Join us at T.B. Costain-SC Johnson Community Centre, 16 Morrell St, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
September 14: Brantford Pride (2SLGBTQIA+) Social
This is a weekly social held by Brantford Pride at Sassy Britches Brewing Co., 111 Sherwood Dr #4, at 6 p.m. All are welcome!
September 16: Steps to Employment
Join Brantford Steps to Employment, a free employment, volunteer experience and skills fair connecting students, newcomers, and job seekers with employers, community organizations, career services, and skills-building workshops. Explore opportunities, expand your network, and access the tools and support you need to succeed in today's workforce. This event will take place at the Gihekdagye Friendship Centre, 274 Colborne St, between 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
This event is hosted in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association, Workforce Planning Board of Grand Erie, Town & Gown Committee, Community Resource
September 24: International Film Series Launch
The International Film Series aims to provide an opportunity to share, reflect and celebrate different cultures, languages and cinematic art. The International Film Series is free to attend and takes place at the Steven and Helen Lun Theatre (RCW 002), 150 Dalhousie St, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m., and the film starting at 7 p.m. All are welcome, no ticket required. Refreshments are provided!
