Snow Windrow Removal

A snow windrow is the pile of snow that is left at the bottom of a driveway after a plow has cleared the road.

Snow Windrow Removal Program

If you're over the age of 65, or if you have a disability or medical condition that prevents you from clearing a snow windrow on your own, the City of Brantford can help.

We try to clear windrows (one car width only) within 20 hours after we finish plowing the roads. Please see our Windrow Removal Program Guidelines for more information.

Register for the program

Use our Windrow Removal Program Application to apply. If you're applying for the first time, bring your application in to the Public Works Service Counter located at City Hall, 100 Wellington Square with proof of your age or medical condition and your address. Registration guidelines for the program are advertised in the Brantford Expositor in early November and early December of each year. Further information can be obtained by calling the City at 519-759-4150.
