Beckett Adult Leisure Centre reopens for in-person pre-registered programming on October 4

Brantford, ON – The City of Brantford is pleased to announce that the Beckett Adult Leisure Centre will be adding in-person programming to the virtual and telephone programming currently being offered to support older adults in making social and service connections throughout the pandemic. Pre-registered, in-person programming will begin on Monday, October 4, 2021.To adhere to COVID-19 public health measures, pre-registration is required. Memberships will remain on-hold at this time.

Registered programs offer a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, special interest and fitness programs. Register and make payment online at Brantford.ca/RecConnect or by calling 519-759-4150. Limited spots are available for each activity. On-site parking is available at the market Centre Parkade located at 59 Icomm Drive, for $2.25 per hour, paid the time of exiting the lot. Street parking may also be available with time restrictions posted.
At this time, the drop-in activities and rentals will be unavailable and the cafeteria, weight room and games room will remain closed.
In accordance with provincial regulations, patrons may be required to show proof of vaccination, proof of identification or proof of exemption before entering.
