Bell Homestead National Historic Site’s outdoor music series returns this summer

BRANTFORD, ON – The City of Brantford is excited to announce the Bell Homestead National Historic Site’s beloved outdoor music series is returning this summer. Attendees can enjoy performances by local singers and musicians on the veranda of the historic Bell Homestead, located at 94 Tutela Heights Road, on four select dates between June and August.
“We are excited to host our Summer Music Series once again,” says Brian Wood, Curator of the Bell Homestead National Historic Site. “These outdoor concerts invite attendees to enjoy the incredible local talent in our community in a picturesque and historic setting.”
Summer Dreams Concert – Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 3 p.m.: Enjoy an outdoor performance by the Brant County Singers in front of the Bell family’s historical home. Admission is by donation. The rain date for this event is Sunday, June 29 at 3 p.m.
Summer Serenade Concert – Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 7 p.m.: Welcome summer with The Brantford Memorial Concert Band as they bring an uplifting musical performance within the picturesque setting of the historical Bell Homestead. Admission is by donation. The rain date for this event is Sunday, June 22 at 3 p.m.
Harmony at the Homestead – Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 7 p.m.: Brantford’s longest-established concert band, The Telephone City Music Society, will have your toes tapping with a special outdoor concert from the veranda. Admission by donation to the Telephone City Music Society. The rain date for this event is Sunday, July 13 at 3 p.m.
Symphony at Sunset – Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 7 p.m.: Enjoy an evening outdoor performance by the Brantford Community Symphony Orchestra with classical music enjoyed by the Bell family and modern favourites. Donations are accepted for this free concert in support of the Bell Homestead National Historic Site. The rain date for this event is Friday, August 22 at 7 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket with them to enjoy the concerts. The Exchange Café will be open to enjoy a variety of delicious home baked goods, ice cream, and beverages. The Phone Booth Museum Store will also be open to purchase a souvenir, vintage item or gift.
