Brantford Immigration Partnership to host Newcomer Welcome Day

BRANTFORD, ON – The Brantford Immigration Partnership (BIP) is pleased to invite new Canadians living in Brantford and members of the public to Newcomer Welcome Day on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Lion’s Park Steve Brown Sports Complex, located at 20 Edge Street. This family-friendly event is an opportunity to learn about local resources available in the community, while enjoying free food, refreshments, games and entertainment.
“We are thrilled to once again host our Newcomer Welcome Day,” says Magdalena Bentia, Brantford Immigration Partnership Coordinator at the City of Brantford. “This event is a celebration of the diverse cultures that enrich our city and a chance for newcomers to feel welcomed, included and connected to the community.”

Since April 2020, the Brantford Immigration Partnership (BIP) has helped build a better understanding of the unique perspectives of immigrants, strengthen community partnerships to enhance services and celebrate inclusion and cultural diversity in our city through collaborative projects and initiatives.
