City launches ‘my Brantford” civic pride campaign

Downtown Brantford for the I LOVE my Brantford campaign

BRANTFORD, ON – On the heels of celebrating Canada Day, whereby many in our community took time out to both celebrate what makes our country great and to reflect on our nation’s past, today the City of Brantford is very excited to launch a new “my Brantford” civic pride campaign to keep the patriotic spirit momentum going, and encourage residents to tell us what makes Brantford special to them.

Ways to get involved

Watch and share the “my Brantford” video that highlights several of Brantford’s most infamous and enjoyable attractions. The video, featuring a number of Brantford residents talking about what they love about Brantford, can be easily accessed on the City’s YouTube Channel or at bit.ly/myBrantfordvideo.

Share YOUR story with us

There's a lot to love about Brantford and the City wants to hear from residents about what you love about your city! The official campaign page at letstalkbrantford.ca/lovemybrantford features positive stories, actions and images to demonstrate how amazing and resilient our community is. Let's celebrate Brantford, together.

Making a difference in your community

What's something you, or someone you know, has done for the local Brantford Community? It can be as simple as picking up litter to starting a non-profit organization. We want to hear all of the amazing ways people in our community are working to make Brantford an even better place to live, work, play or study. Share your actions with us at https://letstalkbrantford.ca/lovemybrantford.

Brantford's Hidden Gems

What's your favourite place to eat? Shop? Have fun in Brantford? We want to share your hidden gems with the entire Brantford community. Submit a favourite restaurant, store, park, trail etc. using our interactive map at https://letstalkbrantford.ca/lovemybrantford.

“With summer in full swing and so much to do in the city, now is the perfect time to celebrate what makes Brantford such an amazing community,” said Maria Visocchi, the City’s Director of Communications, Community Engagement and Customer Service. “We know and appreciate how patriotic Brantford residents are, so we really look forward to hearing residents' celebratory stories and learning about more of our beautiful city’s hidden gems.”

The campaign will run on the City’s website at https://letstalkbrantford.ca/lovemybrantford and on the City’s social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn throughout the month of July.
